The Jones Frontier 2.0 2026 is the ultimate daily driver, built for riders who want one board to handle everything the mountain throws at them. Redesigned from the ground up, the Frontier 2.0 is an all-terrain, shred-anything board with a tapered directional shape and a friendly flex that charges in all conditions — from carving groomers and slashing powder to exploring sidecountry lines and hitting natural features.
The directional rocker profile delivers more nose rocker than tail, with camber between the bindings for responsive edge hold and a slightly rockered tail to keep things catch-free. The Medium 3D Contour Base features spoon bevel in the nose and tail starting at the rocker point, smoothing turn initiation and improving glide in variable snow. New 3D Flip Tips at the nose and tail maximise float in deep powder, enhance glide, and reduce tip catch in rough terrain — a meaningful upgrade that keeps the board feeling surfy and fluid across all conditions. The short sidecut keeps turns quick and easy, making the Frontier 2.0 one of the most nimble boards in the Jones range.
The Master Core uses a 1:1 Paulownia to Poplar dual-density construction — alternating stringers create a lightweight, poppy, and durable ride that stays lively without adding unnecessary weight. Biax Fiberglass delivers a forgiving, snappy feel well suited to the Frontier's all-mountain character. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is bio-plastic from Castor beans — ultralight, chip and scratch resistant, and snow-repellent. The Sintered 8000 base stays fast and is easy to repair across a full season.
